This training pill is a short, practical micro-learning resource that helps coaches, facilitators, and sport organisations understand the main barriers that prevent migrants and refugees from participating in sport activities. Based on project findings, it focuses on key issues such as language barriers, cost, transport, time constraints, and fear of discrimination. The training pill combines simple explanations with real-life scenarios and reflection questions, helping users recognise how these barriers affect participation, confidence, and retention. It shifts perspectives from assuming lack of motivation to understanding structural and social challenges, and supports the transition from passive to active inclusion practices.
